Stone Acorn Builders is a family-owned luxury custom home builder founded in 1999 by Benjamin Lavine and Sarah Lavine Kass. What began as a shared passion for craftsmanship and timeless design has evolved into one of Texas’s most respected boutique building firms. After graduating from Southern Methodist University and beginning his career in management consulting, Benjamin joined Sarah to help grow Stone Acorn Builders into the quality-driven company it is today. As both a Certified Graduate Builder and Graduate Master Builder, Benjamin has achieved the highest levels of technical mastery in the industry, an expertise reflected in every home the company creates. His blend of precision, innovation, and genuine client engagement has set the tone for a building experience that is both highly professional and deeply personal.

In 2010, Stone Acorn Builders was honored to join the prestigious Southern Living Custom Builder Program, a select network of builders recognized for their commitment to craftsmanship, architectural integrity, and the highest building standards. Since then, the firm has proudly completed three official Southern Living Showcase Houses, each reflecting the timeless charm and design excellence that the Southern Living brand represents.
