Benjamin Lavine is the Founder and Owner of Stone Acorn Builders and a proven leader in luxury custom homebuilding. With a business degree from Southern Methodist University (BBA ’98, Cox School of Business), Benjamin brings a strategic, disciplined approach to every aspect of residential construction, grounded in deep industry expertise.
After beginning his career in management consulting and finance, Benjamin ultimately channeled his analytical skills and business acumen into custom homebuilding. He joined his sister nearly 30 years ago to grow a boutique building firm centered on thoughtful design, meticulous craftsmanship, and collaborative client engagement.
As the owner of the firm, Benjamin combines technical mastery with practical leadership, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality and integrity. His dedication to clear communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning has been instrumental in guiding the business through market cycles and geographical growth.

Jacob Benzick
Business Development | Project Management
Jacob Benzick is a leader in business development and project management with a background in high-end residential construction and luxury client service. Prior to his current role, Jacob gained hands-on experience working on custom homes in the Dallas Park Cities, where he was closely involved in the execution of architecturally-robust residences and developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, discretion, and precision in established neighborhoods.
He brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach to every project, emphasizing clear communication, disciplined planning, and close collaboration with homeowners, architects, designers, and trade partners. Jacob is known for his ability to translate complex design and construction challenges into well-executed outcomes that align with each client’s lifestyle and long-term vision.
Jacob holds a degree in Construction Science from the School of Architecture at Texas A&M University, where he graduated in 2024. His education, combined with real-world building experience, informs a disciplined, detail-oriented leadership style focused on quality.
