Southern Living has selected Houston-based Stone Acorn Builders as one of the 100 builders chosen for the exclusive Southern Living Custom Builder Program.  Southern Living launched this program 16 years ago, and only 100 builders are included in this elite group.  Southern Living carefully selects members based on their reputation among local businesses and consumers; strength of presence in their respective markets; superior quality and attention to detail; innovative style; financial stability; and other criteria.

Stone Acorn exceeded Program expectations  in that it:

Now as a Southern Living Custom Builder, Stone Acorn and its clients can access the database of the Southern Living House Plans Service collection.  The database includes more than 1000 plans created by respected architects and designers throughout the nation.  These plans can be built as-is or used for inspiration when designing a home with Stone Acorn.

Stone Acorn and its clients also reap benefits through the networking opportunities the program provides.  Sarah and Benjamin will meet with the other program members annually to explore trends and innovations in other Southern markets.  In addition, they will be first in line to be introduced to the best and newest innovations from the sponsors of the program.
