| We are a small, family-owned and operated business, a sister-brother team. Sarah Lavine-Kass established the company in 1999, and her brother Benjamin Lavine joined her shortly thereafter. Prior to founding Stone Acorn, Sarah was an attorney, and Benjamin worked in management consulting and investment banking. Sarah’s and Benjamin’s legal and business skills complement the building business and bring extra value to both the company and to their clients.
Sarah and Benjamin pride themselves on the attention to detail they provide during the construction process. Therefore, they supervise every job – no intermediary superintendents are ever employed.
